When Mitchel and Serena came downstairs, the Pizza had came. So Serena went towards the kitchen to help getting things to the table only for Nile to pick her up and sit her down at the table which confused her. He just patted the top of her head softly as he went to help Mitchel out with placing things on the table. Ciel went to sit beside her as he saw the confused look on her face. "What's with the look Serena?"
"I usually have to help with setting the table, so why today am I not doing that?"
"I had to spell it out for Nile for the amount of pain you'd be in due to what Tyler did to you plus show him your bloody bedding that he took off of your bed and placed in the wash."
"Oh..."
Once Nile, Mitchel and her adoptive father were at the table-Serena knew she'd be served last due to them usually serving guests first them themselves before getting her food. Serena was bamboozled when her father served her first before doing ciel and then her adoptive brothers and himself. While everyone ate her adoptive father spoke up to her. "Serena, it has come to my attention that you believe that you are a burden to this family which is why you hold yourself in your room unless you know something is happening then you help out the most. I purely thought that you acted that way because you were being helpful to be helpful-not because you were afraid of me and feared what would happen if you didn't."
Serena looked down sadly. "Tell me honestly father...had I not help out as much as I do...would I be out of the house like Emily and Justina?"
Her father was quiet before he sighed out. "Have I really been that harsh?"
"That isn't answering my question father. It's a yes or no question. You've made it very clear to all of us who have lived here that if a question is asked that they must answer it not give another question in return. Do you wish to be a hypocrite to your own rules?" She said seriously
Her adoptive father averted his eyes. "That answers that question. Serena, you aren't going to be out of the house like them. Would you feel safer if you knew your sisters were back here?"
"Emily and Justina never treated me like their younger sister. The only person who you have as a blood child that has ever treated me like their sister has been Mitchel. I can't vouch for Nile since most of my life he's been training to go into the military before being in the military. I know that was a passion of his and I don't look down on him for that. He's doing what makes him happy." Serena said seriously "Did you know that Emily actually talked to me before she spoke to you about her garbage boyfriend, she said she was going to leave the house if you didn't accept her boyfriend because she hated that she had to share a room with me when I didn't belong in this family. And Justina made it very clear to me that since Nile left that she refused to see me as her sister-heck not even Tyler saw me as his is sister, that's why he chose to do what he had to me."
The elder male was in dead silence as he heard her speak, Nile couldn't believe what he was hearing had happened while he was gone. He looked at his father concerned. "Father may I make a suggestion?"
"Sure, I'll all ears Nile."
"First off, get those two brainless women back here. They need to see what the hell they're doing to this family first off. Secondly if Emily doesn't want to room with Serena have Emily room with Justina, have Serena take the small room by the stairs that way she can have her peace and solitute without having to deal with the other girls nonsense. Thirdly, Tyler is gone-We can all just forget about that sick ass * even being part of this damn family because of what he did to Serena. So get tyler's * and place it into the storage room. Which would leave Mitch and I to share a room together. That way Ciel can have a room to himself."
"Do you truly think having the unstable woman be on her own is a good idea?" Ciel asked curiously "I'm not trying to pick on Serena for the mentality that was forced into her or anything, but I don't believe having Serena be on her own is a good idea. She needs to be watched upon until she is at the point where she'll be fine on her own, which might be a while."
Mitchel nodded his head in agreement. "I have to agree with Ciel on this-Serena had scratch marks on her arms. No doubt when you left her in the bathroom she started to scratch her arms in the midst of her panic attack. Having her on her own is a no go until she is able to fuction properly without being supervised. I actually believe that it'd be beneficial for all people involved if we have Justina, Emily, Ciel and Serena in a room together. The big room that Tyler and I had can be used for four people. The small room that's at the top of the stairs can be mine and you can have your old room as is Nile. Which would leave the back room by the washer empty unless we use it for a room where Serena can go away from Justina and Emily to do her puzzles in peace."
"Y-You guys don't have to do that...I...I'm fine where I am." Serena said shaking her head
"you room is an after thought Serena. Just whose idea was it to have you back there?" Nile asked "I thought you were in that big room with Tyler and Mitchel?"
"It was father's idea to have me back there since he didn't want me to be in a room with Tyler and Mitchel."
Nile looked at his father. "Father why did you place Serena and Emily in the one room that isn't insilated or heated? Do you wish for the death of your eldest daughter and the woman you adopted?"
His father leaned against the table as he sighed out. "It was only supposed to be temporary."
"How temporary? Serena and Emily have been in that room since Nile left out for the Army. Even then those two don't get along with one another." Mitchel stated
"Okay-okay, let's think about this logically. First off we need to get Emily and Justina here once more." The elder male stated
"I know where Justina is, but I have no idea where Emily is." Mitchel stated
Serena spoke up weakly. "I...I do."
Mitchel looked at her stunned. "Really? Where is she?"
"She..She's living on the street. I passed by her when I went to find Ciel."
Nile got up. "No *ing way is that woman living on the streets. Something bad already happened to you Serena, I'm not having another sister go through that *. Mitchel you go get Justina I'll go and find Emily."
Mitchel nodded his head and the two of them left out, as they did Serena looked at the elder male. "I...I don't mind being where I am. Sure it's a little cold during the winter, but that's why I got so many blankets. They keep me warm back there. I know that Emily doesn't like it back there so...why not she has the small room on the second floor? She should have her own space."
Her father placed his hand out to shush her. "Just eat your dinner alright?"
She nodded her head sadly before she ate her dinner, it wasn't long before Nile and Mitchel came back with the two women. Justina and Emily didn't seem all that happy about being in the house and seeing Serena still there. They both sat down to eat and said nothing to their father or to Serena who felt the tension in the room. Mitchel knew that things would get silent between the people that were in the room so he cleared his throat. "Now that everyone that can be here is here, let us start with the talk of room situation and how to make things more comfortable for everyone involved."
"What do you mean by that Mitchel? Where the hell is Tyler?" Emily asked concerned and confused
